This clinical practice guideline addresses the management of patients with glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis. It is not intended to address the management of glenohumeral joint arthritis from etiologies other than osteoarthritis (i.e., rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, post traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, rotator cuff tear arthropathy, capsulorrhaphy arthropathy, post-infectious arthropathy, etc.
