Huvitz HDC-7000 — système de tests visuels

HDC-7000 is a Huvitz visual chart system with chart software, remote control and receiver. The current manufacturer page describes 41 charts and support for different monitor sizes. Examination distance and optotype size are calibrated to the actual configuration. Monitor and computer requirements must be specified with ASEM; no fixed-size screen or computer shown in the photographs is advertised as included.

Charts and binocular examination

The manufacturer describes 41 charts, including binocular balance, stereopsis, fixation disparity and fusion tests. Random, masking and red/green settings adjust presentation. Contrast adjustment changes presentation conditions.

Calibrating distance and display

Examination distance adjusts from 2.5 to 6 m in 0.1 m increments. Documented compatible monitor sizes are 17, 19, 20, 23 and 24 inches; actual dimensions and resolution must be considered during calibration. Mirror mode supports small-room configurations without eliminating the need to verify optical distance.

Documented receiver and controls

Documented communications are USB to the computer, CAN/IR for HDR/CDR equipment and infrared remote control. The receiver measures 51 × 80 × 21 mm and weighs 43.5 g according to the current page. USB receiver supply is 5 V, 100 mA, or 0.5 W. These dimensions and power requirements describe the receiver, never the complete screen/computer system.

Defining the configuration with ASEM

The chart system must be configured with a suitable computer and monitor. The official photograph illustrates one possible installation and does not prove that this computer is supplied. Software compatibility and operating system versions must be confirmed for the proposed configuration rather than copied from an old brochure.
