ASEM Desktop
ASEM Desktop Terms of Use
ASEM Desktop is a professional Windows application reserved for persons authorised by ASEM within their assigned roles and permissions.
Purpose and professional access
The application provides administration, monitoring and work organisation features for the ASEM environment. ASEM manages distribution, accounts and feature access. Accounts and features may only be used within the authorised professional scope.
Accounts and user responsibilities
Users protect their ASEM credentials and Windows session, use their own authorised access and report lost access or suspected misuse to ASEM. ASEM may adapt or withdraw permissions according to professional roles and needs.
Users remain responsible for the recipients, content, attachments and mail actions they select. They must have the necessary rights to process and transmit the information involved.
Optional Gmail module and third-party services
Gmail connection is optional and personally authorised on Google screens. It enables the reading, composing, sending and organisation features presented in the application. Permanent deletion requires additional consent and explicit confirmation; users must understand that it is irreversible.
Google services remain subject to their own terms, availability and access controls. Authorisation may expire or be revoked. ASEM does not guarantee permanent Gmail connectivity or uninterrupted availability of third-party services.
Privacy and reasonable security
Gmail data is handled according to the ASEM Desktop privacy policy linked on this page. Users protect their computer, lock their session and safeguard exported files and backups. Vault encryption does not replace these precautions.
Support requests should describe the issue without disclosing passwords, tokens or unnecessary confidential information.
Updates and ending use
Updates may change features and improve security. Use versions supplied by ASEM. Changes to Google access or use of Google data must be accompanied by appropriate information and renewed permission when required.
Signing out of ASEM retains the local vault for resuming with the same identity. To remove a mailbox from this computer, use Remove from this PC; to revoke authorisation, use Google account settings. Messages at Google and separately saved files are not deleted by local removal.
Information and contact
For questions about access, these terms or your data, contact ASEM at direction@asem-medical.com or through the official contact page. Official legal information remains available in the site footer. These terms do not replace applicable professional agreements between ASEM and the user.
