Huvitz HS-7000 — lampe à fente
Huvitz
The Huvitz HS-7000 is a tower-illumination slit lamp for anterior segment observation. Its Galilean converging binocular microscope offers five magnification positions. Filters and slit adjustments support different examination conditions. HIS-5000 imaging can complement the lamp depending on the chosen configuration; it is not listed as standard included equipment.
Observing the anterior segment
The HS-7000 uses a Galilean converging binocular microscope. With 12.5× eyepieces, the manufacturer table specifies five magnifications: 6×, 10×, 16×, 25× and 40×. The five-position drum changes magnification during observation. Interpupillary distance adjusts from 55 to 80 mm. Optional 10× eyepieces change the effective magnifications.

Tower illumination and adjustable slit
Tower illumination distinguishes the HS-7000 from the integrated-illumination HS-7500. Slit width adjusts continuously from 0 to 14 mm and length from 0.3 to 14 mm. Rotation ranges from 0° to 180°. The HS-7000 uses incidence positions of 0°, 5°, 10°, 15° and 20°, not the continuous adjustment of the HS-7500. The documented working distance is 80 mm.
Examination filters and controls
The manufacturer documents cobalt-blue, red-free, grey, heat-absorption and yellow filters. The yellow filter supports fluorescein observation. The joystick controls positioning, with 30 mm vertical travel and 100 mm longitudinal and lateral travel. Filter and illumination selection depends on the professional’s examination.
Documenting with optional imaging
The series can be equipped with HIS-5000 imaging for image and video acquisition. The brochure describes separate camera configurations; their sensors, USB interfaces and PC requirements must not be attributed to the stand-alone lamp. Capture can use the joystick button when imaging devices are connected. Camera, computer and table must be specified in the ASEM quotation.
Electrical configuration and documented limits
Power supply is 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. The brochure describes 12 V, 30 W halogen illumination and an LED variant; the proposed configuration must be confirmed. Net weight and stand-alone lamp dimensions are not specified in this table, so no values are invented for the catalogue or VERSUS. The original brochure remains available as the source.
Manufacturer photographs of the series
This official photograph shows the HS-7000 and HS-7500 variants together. It documents the series and does not imply that two lamps are included with the HS-7000 configuration. Other images show optical components documented by Huvitz.
